At Hopewell Baptist Church, ministry is about putting our faith into action. Through local outreach, missions, Bible study, music, and opportunities to serve, we strive to share God’s love both within our church family and throughout our community.
Whether you’re looking for a way to serve, grow in your faith, or get involved with others, there’s a place for you at Hopewell.
Jeffersontown Area Ministries
Hopewell supports Jeffersontown Area Ministries (JAM), an organization dedicated to helping individuals and families in our local community. Through assistance and outreach programs, JAM provides support to neighbors facing difficult circumstances. We are proud to participate in helping meet the needs of our community.
KBC Backpacks Ministry
Through the Kentucky Baptist Convention’s backpack ministry, we help bring encouragement and joy to children in need. By collecting and preparing backpacks filled with gifts and necessities, we share the love of Christ with children and families who need a helping hand.
Operation Christmas Child Shoeboxes
A simple shoebox can make a lasting difference! Hopewell participates in Operation Christmas Child, packing shoeboxes filled with toys, school supplies, personal care items, and other gifts for children around the world. Each box is an opportunity to share God’s love and the message of Jesus Christ.
Vacation Bible School
Vacation Bible School is an exciting opportunity for children to learn about God’s Word in a fun, welcoming environment. Through Bible lessons, music, activities, and fellowship, we encourage children to grow in their faith while making wonderful memories.
Women's Bible Study
Our Women’s Bible Study provides an opportunity for women to come together in fellowship, explore God’s Word, and grow spiritually. Through studying Scripture and sharing with one another, we encourage and strengthen each other in our walk with Christ.
Choir & Music Ministry
Led by Tom Dillard, Hopewell’s choir is an important part of our worship and music ministry. The choir sings during Sunday morning services, presents special cantatas, and shares its music at various locations throughout the year.
Through music, we celebrate our faith, lift our voices in praise, and share the message of God’s love with others.
